Meeting Information

  • General Meeting: General Meeting, the first Wednesday of each month starting at 19:30 hours.
  • Projects evenings / Technical Night on second & fourth Wednesdays at 19:30 hours.
  • Any fifth Wednesday reserved for AREC meeting at 19:30 hrs.
  • Committee Meeting: every third Wednesday of each month at 19:30 hrs

  • Weekly Net's on Air:
    • ZL1VK on VHF - Auckland 6625 repeater (146.625MHz) Sunday mornings starting at 08:00 hours, local time.
    • Followed by
    • ZL1VK on HF - 80m 3.755 which is also linked via the VHF Repeater (146.675Mhz) and on the UHF Repeater (438.775), with both links requiring a CTCSS Tone of 141.3 on Tx.
      The HF net starts at 09:00 hours local time, or following the VHF net, should the net be running late.
NOTE: If the 6625 repeater is not available or offline, please listen on 146.475MHz FM simplex.

All visitors are welcome to attend any of our Wednesday nights main meeting or project / technical nights.
Please remember to make yourself known once you arrive.

Next Project / Technical Night.

The next Projects Evening is the Wednesday 11th February
Richard ZL1BNQ will be continuing on how to build a simple dipole antenna.
Following on from the last time, Richard will be explaining, how to build fan dipoles, and trap antenna's.
We will be continuing the AllStar Project at a later date.

There are a few kits still available, so if you are interested please come along.
The cost of the kit is $35
Full details of the kit is listed in the link below. NOTE: You will still need to supply a Raspberry Pi and UHF Radio. We are using the Baofeng BF888S, David ZL1DK has a few of these left at $30 to club Members.
